Three Sides To a Story

There are three sides to every story
Your side my side and the fact
How you look at a story depends on what side you sit but what are the facts
So many of us like to hear a lie
Sometimes the truth is hard to hear
Don't listen to one side of a story, the truth gets lost in one's perspective
All voices must speak
Then you determine the facts
The truth will never be silent
Don't trust your eyes, from your view it all looks the same
We all have our own truth
How fair is it to imprison a man without knowing the truth
Look at both sides of the coin
You maybe surprise at what you find
It's never easy to walk away from anyone so listen to the two voices that speak
Don't convict a man without evidence that's not honesty
Not all is fair in love and war because everyone wants to win
Most of us are victims of our selfishness only want the best for ourselves.
Listen to both side of the story

It is important because some one had the courage to speak out about injustice. As a poet I believe we are warriors of the heart bringing truth and enlightenment to people.3PN

True Sonya. Both sides of the story must be told. I have also seen some shady cases this made me think of , with wrongfully convicted. It is sad what goes on with the system. This is an important poem.
