Three Notes

Three notes
Of hard music
Roared in my head
The first time I saw her.
Three notes of steel
To underline hers strength.
The same three notes
Three notes of gold
Sweetly sounded In my head
Later on
When she kissed me
To underline
Hers gleaming sweetness.
Three diamond notes
Create a sublime music in my head
Just now
When we have been long wed.
To underline strength and gleaming sweetness
Of the woman of my life.
