Three Inches and Rising

Rain drops falling
Wind howling
Wooooo

Wet feet
Muddy floors
Mop and shine!

Wow! 3 inches! I enjoyed this poem very much and it made me grateful that I live in WA state where it mists a lot but seldom amounts to" inches." LOL Thank you for your comments on my poem about the sounds grandchildren hear in the summer.

Hope you'll have nicer weather now, Doris! Nicely written Light Poetry! "Mop and shine" is the answer...Thanks for your comments...Gert

Sounds very messy, and yet so clean, all at once. Very interesting, Doris! *hugs* Rachel

I see you are adding lines to this as the storm moves through, Doris. Where do you live? It looks like Ft. Walton Beach is getting hit pretty hard right now. Love, Carolyn

Sounds like the storm that passed through two nights ago. Had at least six, maybe eight inches. And boy, the wind howled relentlessly. Great couplet, Doris. Love, Carolyn

Short but very descriptive. The dr. says that Cody will have to see a surgeon...I guess that I should have just gone to the emergency room with him....I am hoping that it will be better before he sees the surgeon...He wrote a prescription for antibotics...Mom
