Three Images

We search for the one moment of life
A prelude to joy…….

Calm sea
And    rower
In an immensity of silence
Dipping steadily

EXPECTATIONS

I cut me out a perfect babe
Of tissue    very thin
And    then    before a cry was heard
Released it to the wind

………………………………………..

THE OLD CHEST

Up lid!
And a hundred musty specters cry out
With memories for one only
