I agree. I've known loners, creative types, that choose to be a hermit. Then there are those stubborn hermits who isolate themselves because they're so self critical that they can't seem to place themselves in places and situations that make them feel vulnerable. YouTube is full of self-proclaimed spiritual gurus, all businesses finally. Each so called teacher knows very little but projects themselves larger than life. Unfortunately to alleviate pain and suffering, many people go to such people for solace.
