Thou Art Fair My Love

As the lilly among thorns, so is love among humans
As the apple tree among the trees of the wood
So is love among earth treasures, a fountain sealed
If thou know not, O thou fairest among all things

Many water cannot quench love, neither the flood drown it
Love is white and ruddy, the cheifest among ten thousand
Love is unbais, true to the soul and mind
No iota of deceit, so pure like a plain sheet

Behold thou art fair, my love, behold thou art fair
I have compare thee to the company of lillies
And thy neck to fine lines like thread of scarlet
Beloved thou art fair, oh my love, thou art fair

With strength so mighty like graphene and heart so precious
My beloved is mine and I am his, joined steadfast.

A wonderful poem for love. I liked the ancient writer feel of the words.
