ruby
red lips kiss
the watery sapphire depths
upon hot summer morning
sky's obsidian recesses and below
shadowy depths inky puzzle awaits light
creatures come to life when those
lips offer kisses
comforting
red lips

This is beautifully rendered. Your word choices are so smooth when spoken and I cannot get over how well that reflects the look and feel of the image itself. Incredibly well done.

ooh i posted about lips today also... and Maria Williams send me a poem of hers called ruby red lips also.. must be a lips day or something lol... I do not know this form so cannot comment on it.. but it seems like you have chosen a good selection of words for it..

Thank you, SO. I was using prime numbers that is all. LOL. Yes, I think several people have used the same topic. It will be an interesting contest. I don't think mine is done correctly so maybe there won't be any reason to think mine will place. Sara K
