Thorin

The skies above were filled with fire, As warriors clashed in fierce desire. The ground shook beneath their feet, As steel met steel in bloody defeat. The sound of battle filled the air, As hero's fought with hearts so fair. They fought for honor, they fought for pride, They fought to keep their kingdom's side. The war had raged on for many a year, As brothers fought against brothers dear. But one man stood above the rest, A hero who would not be bested. His name was Thorin, son of Thrain, A warrior of great might and reign. He led his kin in battles bold, And never did his spirit fold. His sword was swift and true to aim, As he cut down foes with deadly aim. He fought with valor, he fought with might, And never once did he take flight. But despite his strength and great renown, The war seemed lost, with no way to turn the town. But Thorin did not give up hope, He knew he could not let his people cope. So he called upon the ancient power, That flowed within his kin that hour. He called upon the strength of old, To save his people, and make them whole. And as he raised his sword on high, A bright light shone across the sky. The power flowed through his veins, As he faced the enemy with great gains. He swung his sword with all his might, As his foes fell left and right. The battle raged on for hours on end, But in the end, Thorin did defend. And when the dust had settled low, Thorin stood tall, with a glow. He had saved his people, his kin and all, And peace was restored to the hall. And so the hero Thorin was hailed, As a hero of great tale. His name was whispered with awe, For he had saved them all. And as the years passed by, Thorin's legend never did die. He was remembered with great pride, As the hero who saved his kin's side.
