This Is Where I Belong

I'm alone, unable to leave what I started.
If you must judge my every flaw,
Then please don't touch me,
This is where I belong.

I am just another shadowed being,
Waiting for forgiveness from high above.
You'll only get hurt, please stay away,
This is where I belong.

Refrain from your questions, I can't speak,
For all I can spew are the worst sins.
If you want to stay innocent, keep your distance,
This is where I belong.

Oh, dear, how I long to touch the light of day,
To feel the sun's warms rays against my skin.
But I would fade if I tried to make it there, so
This is where I belong.

Can you hear me?

I am with Carl, what he said to you was perfect. And I like your writing style here.

Well your one of Gods creations just like the rest of us, no better, no worse. Sometimes it takes time to see light from the depths of the pit. I pray you find your way. And by the way you do belong, blessings Carl

Thank you for your kindness, I just can't seem to find where I fit in at the moment. But I find it bit by bit, thank you so much. Every little word makes a difference.
