Notes About The Poem

This Is Jack

Yesterday I saw a very creepy mouse, Sneaking right through my front door, He was wearing tails and a top black hat And dragging a large suitcase too When he saw me, he run inside, And past me he sped so fast, Into the kitchen he went in, To a tiny hole, with suitcase and all I tried everything, to flushed him out, From the hole just as fast. I played him music extremely loud; And even called him on his cell phone So I ordered him some cheese pizza, Provolone and jack cheese by the pound, And placed it close, for him to come out and eat, But...he grabbed with him in a flash An email he sent me later on, In which this certain note,to me he wrote: "This's Jack, thank you,for giving me more food, Now I can stay with you, for another three years. Amusing! His Jill has been traversing in my territory for the past three days. Today I've got a mousetrap to execute his fragile partner with my bread! More humour, please? Balveen

I really love this poem. I enjoy the humor in it I can see that we have two things in common, we love poetry and we both have a poem about a mouse. I hope you will like mine as much as I like yours. It's funny that after reading this poem I have a taste for pizza now! Great poem!

Oh, Dorian, I had some great laughs reading this poem. You did so many things to drive him away, but then you FED him. He thinks he's your pet now and you'll never get rid of him! Mice used to taunt me by chewing a hose in my dryer. Mouse traps didn't work. They got the goodies and I'd found traps that had snapped. Then I bought "sticky pads" and placed them on the floor. The pads and the mice disappeared. They were probably skiing down my driveway. LOL Love this! A fave for me.

AMEN "D" . . . Didn't mean to scare you here. Yup -- they have beady eyes and end up getting into everything thing. We have to lay traps for them sometimes here in Germany since we have an older house and live near a Markt Platz. Glad to hear you're protected with your very nice Cats!! Cheers, Gary

Are you kidding me Gary! I am so scared of the real ones, just seeing that nasty tail and beady sly little eyes send my mind and body into a panic...lol. I like them in cartons and Art form, because they appear cute like that...I have 2 girl cats pets now for years that protect me against them from invading my home. And with baby girl Misa Victoria Marie ( my very little Yorkie, she's a year old now:) who can mess up with me. She loves me so much and she's very protective and loyal too. That's dogs for you especially Yorkies. They're so tiny but very brave and loyal. Thank you Gary for all your kind comments and 7's. Love and blessings! xxx D.
