This Happy Memory
Sun
Calls
Beckons
Raw freedom
My divine carte blanche
Sun pointing way to new ventures
Released of commitments and responsibilities
Precious days of undaunted compliance to nature’s call, vivacious sun worshipper
I
Was
Younger
Radiant
Feeling explosive
Devout follower of that sun
Joyfully bursting with euphoric fanaticism
I was in my prime, fortunate, free at last, and it was a summer like no other
The
Air
Magic
Summer bliss
Nothing else mattered
T’was an endless summer of sun
My heart was atune longing for that invite to dance
How many times I wish this magnificent memory could only last forever
