This Disgruntled Troll

I am not inventing this disgruntled troll
Who writes nasty messages gloomy and droll
Seems unhappy with everything I prize
Glad I do not see things through her eyes

Nor do I believe everything is going to hell
If only things were her way, all would be well
Unfortunately her view of America is morose
Which she disses with poems much too verbose

Why should I sit back and allow her to scorn
Without response to her pitiful political p**n?
But I do, yes…I do restrain myself most often
I am sure she would like me laid in my coffin

Lately she is disgruntled with a current event
And takes the opportunity to open her vent
I won't say her name, but, you'll get the hint
Too bad, tsk, tsk, tsk, she isn’t our president!

This woman has harassed several poets who have really done nothing that should have upset or insulted a reasonable person. I'm afraid we've lost some good ones because of her. She has been reported to administration by at least two people, so I'm hopeful that she will get a clue that her bullying is totally unacceptable. Yes, indeed, those of us who are experiencing it would really love to move on! I appreciate your thoughtful comments. As to being jealous of my "ability," you must be kidding!!!!

I certainly agree with you. OTOH, when people (and in this case I am not the only one!) are being bullied and harassed it needs to be taken care of. I am afraid the person I am referring to might have run off some very good people whom I am missing.

In response to one of this person's poems I wrote, "You seem to be very sad." I did not mean it in an unkind way at all, but since, she has continually hounded me with her "poems." I've finally had it. This has been going on for, perhaps, a year now. I have reported it to admin, but nothing has been done, as far as I know. I want it to stop. She's also doing this to a fine young lady on here, too.

I just got tired of this person throwing crap at one or two of us on a recurring basis, over something she considered an insult (which really wasn't insulting at all) and because someone expressed a differing opinion. They keep needling and needling. It's a shame! I haven't heard for a week or so from another person to whom she is giving a rough time. I hope she didn't leave us. I reported this whole business to administration, but they don't seem to have acted on it.

This woman, whom I apparently insulted with a comment (imagine that if you can, from me) has blocked me but continues to needle me with her "poetry." I certainly can handle it. No problem. But, I just decided it was time to vent and hopefully she will get the message. Jan, we have absolutely too much of this on Poetry Soup. I love it here and no one is going to run me off. I am a good person and always try to give uplifting and thoughtful comments. Thanks for your encouragement.
