this day
breathes heavy
like me 

i feel its breath
wrapping me 
in this chill 

as i struggle
to catch my own
beneath its rise 

i fall
shadowless
beneath this sky
that hides the sun 

i only dream
of warm caresses 
as this day
seems to last
forever

Thank you so much Jenish...I used to do daily bus scribbles but now they come less frequent, winter is less inspiring... perhaps as the scenes change with the seasons they will become more frequent... time depending of course... hugs

Thank you Tom, been battling a cold for well over 3 weeks, on my third full bottle of cough medicine, happens when you are exposed to germs all the time... i used to do some pretty detailed bus scribbles... this is the first in a long time but, i haven't had much down time, because so many co workers are calling out sick... have a great weekend Tom...hugs

It sure does seem to be dragging, that's for sure. But if a dragging Friday means a new bus scribble from you, then I say drag on Friday. :) This was wonderful Sandy.

lol...i actually had a crazy afternoon but was staring out the bus window in the 10 minutes i had to myself before the kids came out and the poem came to me...it's been quite some time since my last bus scribble... not my best but I've been sick with a cold for over 3 weeks and it was windy today...it made it easier to lose your breath and start coughing! :) hugs
