Your clever intellect and talented pen never lets you down, John. Yes! Your poem did bring a smile! :)) I'm so glad you decided "to chu on it a while" and pen a beautiful minichu. You are wonderful in the short forms, my dear poet. Best wishes for a win and my very warmest wishes to you, my inspiring friend.. ~Susan

My dear friend, I am humbled by your great kindness. The rose petals come from the roses in your poetic garden :)) We inspire each other as we learn from each other.. which is indeed a wonderful gift. Your lush and textured comments are extremely encouraging to myself and all poets/poetesses here lucky enough to receive them :))

Thank you (twice now today!) for scattering rose petals on my thorns, dear Susan. You inspire me, not only to grow in my capacity of poetic expression, but also in my communication of encouragement to other poets. What a gift you are to this site! Be blessed, my friend ~ John

regarding the oo in front of the stinking poem of mine, I think it had something to do with what the sponsor wanted of us, or maybe I could not get my poem to come up under its title so I put 2 o's in front. I was too lazy to change it back and it still stays that way. haha

ok, now THIS is super super clever. I know I used try as one of my main words. but to think of the CHU on it line that was brilliant!

I hope Mohan doesn't mind my making a pun from his poetry form? At least I got the rhyme form right this time (I messed up last time).

I like the play on 'chu' on it, seems like a form you would do well in :)

You are too kind. I feel pretty insecure with almost all of the short forms. Trying to do more just to get practice!
