Things Should Have Been
You remember when you were a kid
And all the fun thing that you did
All the people that you befriend
And everything that should have been
So what you have done things that were bad
You can stop dwelling on the things you had
Life is no longer make believe or pretend
Even though you think it should have been
By knowing the difference between wrong and right
You should refuse to go out now without a good fight
Although some things might be hard to comprehend
You are no longer stuck on the way it should have been
But just how this world would be so great
If there was not so much war and hate
And everyone could get alone with their fellowmen
Because that’s the way things should have have been
