Thin Air

Reached mountain top, snow falling, getting colder, lost my rope, nowhere to go, but down, running out of food, no matches left, thin air doing me in. written 5-12-11

Your poem reads well on the surface and could also be interpreted as our journey through life, James. I often think of life as climbing a mountain and we, like the matches, are exhausted in the end. As for Stardom, we're now reading about Arnold Schwarzenegger's transgressions and it makes me sad. I always thought he was an honorable man. Love, Carolyn
