They Bought It But Keep It Wrapped

"THEY BOUGHT IT BUT KEEP IT WRAPPED"

the gods set me up to
pass go but
kept their $200.
they gave me a life to
live in,
to anyone with a brain,
it would've murdered
the man who lives word
for word by the book.
just a pussy if you
ask me.
I might be going out
of my head but
the poetry keeps making
it's way to the paper.
if I die tonight,
already, I've served
my purpose.
that's kind of great
considering my father is
still
waiting for his.
