There Once Was a House
There once was a house.
It seemed
just like so many,
rich only in spirit.
It stood on the border
of peace and disorder,
torn between the city
and deep tranquility
of a nearby river.
Beautiful only within,
all spaces together did sing
a song of inspiration.
Kind thoughts
spread like fruit flies,
combined all open minds,
of those who gave it
one more chance
by calling it their home.
