There Is a Star
There is a star, that shines oh so bright ---
To bring all people salvation and spiritual sight ---
Fore soon a babe named Emmanuel will be born ---
Despite that King Herod will surely cast his scorn ---
Angels will proclaim to all, who wish to hear ---
The Messiah has come, so children do not fear ---
And as our Lord drew His first mortal breath ---
Jesus knew His purpose, all the way to His death ---
Yet the grave will hold no permanent domain ---
Fore Christ will arise forever to Heaven's plain ---
Guiding us in Spirit, at life's every hill and bend ---
Jesus will be with us, until our blessed end.
