Therapeutic Palette

It is a painting of deep connection to natures beauty of fascination and the changing seasons, of colour and light it captures its essence, in fleeting its sight his brush stokes fluid and energetic he gives it life , to the unexpected and in hues of greens and pinks, serene a sense of calm , so rarely seen l transport back, to peace and harmony to his eyes, of deeper meaning passage of time ,and its fleeting nature his Water Lilies, their fragility, his feeling a pulse of light upon the water it has a miriad of interpretations so he paints to invite you in and he paints its slow , in it's his celebration l'll think , and sit, and wait a while and absorb the artistic palette as his canvas gives back, the Lilies smile in the gardens sunset , of Monet

l thought it was labels to Art that had yet t be put up..No, my husband realised before anyone else in the room realised, all confused, that the numbered labels was the 'Art'. l walked out in disgust in front of the Japanesse Artist who was in the room His 'Art' was travel ticket numbers of all his travel. l felt it was a complete insult. His beauty was ugly to me lol

lol, now you have bought up one of the oldest questions that mankinds asks is 'all Art beautiful'. to me its in the eye of the beholder ie something that was considered ugly say 100 yrs ago may be considers 'beauty' now. So what is beauty in Art ? Many yrs ago l went to a Art exhibition where the Artist had put labels all around the room with just numbers written on them..(l.ll continue )...

thats very kind of you Oliver, thank you. will have to double check my spelling in this poem as l can now see loads of mistakes lol. One of my favorite Artist, Monet , along with Renoir. l have a rare print of Renoir painting 'mother and child' that l bought in France. It's one of Renoirs pencil drawings with pink background, its so beautiful. He did many pencil drawing but Renoir Society says mine is quite rare. l have it in my bedroom so l can see it all the time.
