Then and Now
Laughter and cries
Giggles and tears
Yesterday and today
Smiles and silent screams
Hope and defeat
Yesterday was so bright
It promised happiness
Love that would last forever
A life filled with joy
Today brings pain
Nights spent weeping
Tears staining the sheets
A heart left broken and bloody
I'm lost
A ragged shell
I'm no longer the girl he loved
I'm just the empty shell
Lost in the world
Broken and forgotten
