Their Lovely Story

Their Lovely Story Wrapped in a small red bow, The box so fragile, Never been opened before, It’s been waiting for awhile. Nothing special about it, Only that it’s true, The box has been waiting here, And it only can be opened by you. With tender and care She unties the bow, Unwrapping it just like so. Placing her fingers to open the box, She stares intently and realizes it’s locked. He hands her the key, That no one has ever had, So happy she is, And he, so glad. The key fits perfectly And the lock unsnaps, Her heart trembles as she hears it unlatch. She sees what is inside, And places it in her pocket. She’ll carry it Forever, And never drop it. All his love, she will always carry, Oh, isn’t it true, This is only the beginning, To their lovely story.
