Spring is dressed up in various shades of green Generously emitting sun rays with a dazzling sheen The sycamore tree keeps sighing in the hissing Morning wind. Frangipanis here and there glisten As white as winter snow. Butterflies float about Happily; somewhere a nightingale joyously sings out Clusters of clouds hang above, the sky wonderfully blue Ah, the youth of spring! Everything seems brand new Bees and hummingbirds pollinate flowers in bloom Mother Earth shows no scintilla of gloom Date written: 10/02/2018
