The Yellow View
Looking out my window
The ginko in plain view
Daily changes seen, wow
Like a new born's coo
The leaves yellow start
With just a very few
Then slowly more impart
Until lime green and yellow debut
Soon the whole tree
Will endrenched yellow be
Sunshine in my yard for free
Even some leaves for tea
Soon the leaves will leave
As does the baby's coo
Bare limbs look dead, grieve
But miracles are in brew
Spring will come with buds
The baby now says words
Life has done one cycle
The others will just be heard
