The Yellow View

Looking out my window The ginko in plain view Daily changes seen, wow Like a new born's coo The leaves yellow start With just a very few Then slowly more impart Until lime green and yellow debut Soon the whole tree Will endrenched yellow be Sunshine in my yard for free Even some leaves for tea Soon the leaves will leave As does the baby's coo Bare limbs look dead, grieve But miracles are in brew Spring will come with buds The baby now says words Life has done one cycle The others will just be heard

Lovely poem, a beautiful view you seem to have from your window. I've never heard of this tree ginko. You make tea from the leaves. Where was it you said you live?Sincerely, Love, Moses

Ginko Bilboa has the most unusual leaves. I have always wanted one, but couldn't get it rooted. This is a lovely poem. Do you have a female tree? I've heard that you need two for the fruit. AND THE FRUIT STINKS!!! Is that true? Just wondering. Have a Happy Thanksgiving. Send links to our Thanksgiving poem to family and friends, if you want to. You may also send my Cornucopia and Pumpkin poem, too. (Reposted) xoxox Lovingly, Dane Ann

Aren't trees just awesome! Very well written poem with very beautiful imagery. Amazing cause I just posted a poem about trees too. I often see on this site poems pertaining a similar theme around the same time they are posted. I think that is quite significant, don't you? Thanks for sharing and thank you for your ongoing great reviews on my poems. Happy Thanksgiving Day to you and yours! Caroline.
