The Years Melt Into Yesterday

Just the touch of your fingertips
  sent a thrill right up my arm
It started my heart a-pounding
  you wrapped me in your charms

Holding hands as we window-shopped
  sent my feet a-skipping along
As the music played, only for us
  Sinatra crooning our favorite song

The years melt into yesterday
  emotions so strong even now...  
Although we've gone our separate ways
  ~ I'll always wish that we'd exchanged vows

Ah we never forget our first love. I still remember mine. He was a boy I went through grade school with and we always walked to school together. His family moved away and I never saw him again. I always wondered where he was and how he was even to this day. Great write my friend. God Bless, JB
