The Year's End
Well we are almost there my friends
Another 24 hours to this years end
A year of turmoil it can be best described
Bad weather, political turmoil when analyzed
The media was harsh to our President elect
Who continually showed he's no super intellect
Walls Street loves him; it's no secret why
But when it comes to character we can only sigh
It's difficult to be positive when the world is a mess
You all follow the news so I need not digress
We can only hope that the New Year will be a turning point
Be positive but careful lest you be left with your nose out of joint
What we all hope to see is the return of civility and empathy
And the state of our world to one of peace and serenity
Hard to imagine from what we see out there today?
I agree, but HOPE can sometimes magically chase all clouds away
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL
