Notes About The Poem

The Yearning

When you walk on by, my heart quivers, freelancing in time with my muse
Your light shines a brilliant hue from your eyes, dancing in time with my muse

When you stand silently, echoes of laughter unite to remind me
Of the moments spent beside you, eager, prancing in time with my muse

When you look into my eyes, insight whispers through me, enlightening
Sighing out a sense of poise within, enhancing in time with my muse

When you whisper to my spirit with your intelligence and beauty
Creating feelings of warmth and fire, bechancing in time with my muse

When I notice your kindness, there is joy inside that surprises me
Breathing a caress across my heart, entrancing in time with my muse

When you reach out to my soul with such rich compassion and gentleness
Embracing my thoughts with sweet silence, romancing in time with my muse

When I clasp your hand within my own, beckoning for your tender hug
Your grace, a mystery, reaches through me, glancing in time with my muse

When you carry your heart on your sleeve, I feel my own drop to my knees
Touching my depths with affection, everlasting in time with my muse

This is such a lovely piece . The way you speak it's like everything he does awakens your muse to write lovely words. Really enjoyed this one. God Bless my friend. JB

Regina, Wooahoo! .. Not sure if you had this Ghazal ready to go, it's melodic. So clever to work it out. Excellent result!
