The Year 2037
The Year 2037
The year 2037 will bring peace and freedom; and I'll be only 87 It shall find me very energetic, free of sickness, happy and giving
At 87, I shall be dearer, gentler, kinder, and much more wiser Every dawn and every passing day, will find me so much better
May you detect no 'Poor me', regrets, nor any form of bitterness As for those things beyond my control, I will lay them all to rest
At the age of 87, so much more closer to my Lord I want to be May I be graced and embraced by God, and feeling heavenly
I shall be blessed and closely connected to my lovely family; and showered with many grands and greats so graciously
At 87, I think that I'll be walking with my bride on the sea sands 20 years from now, I shall be standing tall with all my grands
In 2037, I will be laughing and playing with my great grands If I should become quickly tired, they'll gladly understand
