The Writers Soul

I did not mean to pierce your heart
               
                      What am I creating today ~
                 mixing colors together with words 
                      Sea blues~ shades of gray~ Vibrant Reds  
                    Amethyst Purple with Green
                       Black and white palate

                   to hurt another is not my intent ~
                    
                     do I stand in calm waters still
                          dangerous undercurrents 

                       exposed truth 
                                    piercing my heart ~
                           leaving yours  a open wound to heal
                                what gives in the writers Soul  ~

Hi Yvette; I like your poem. A writers soul is sometimes very delicate and yet- who knows what a writer's soul feels. Sometimes, we don't mean to pierce a heart, but to touch it. I like the calm waters. Thanks for reading my poem. Things are starting to look better. .. Lucilla
