The Worlds Still Spinning
Can anybody tell me how to get back to when I was young
Back to my beginning; to a song that was still unsung
I don’t mind that my hair is graying or the wrinkling of my skin
I can still choose to dance and I’m no different deep within
And the world is as beautiful as it has ever been
And around the sun it continues to spin
The stars still twinkle in the sky at night
And the moon still shines its splendid evening light
The problem, as I see it, is just with the beings
I could be very wrong but that’s what I am seeing
I can’t get the image out of my head
The man in a black hood and a journalist that's dead
The president golfing to improve his score
Is much too busy to give a shout of fore
And the world is as beautiful as it has ever been
And around the sun it continues to spin
The stars still twinkle in the sky at night
And the moon still shines its splendid evening light
