The World Will Never

The world will never be the same And I don’t know if I Could ever join a crowd again, No matter when or why. A subway car? A baseball game? A concert or a show? Museum? Airplane? Restaurant? Not sure when I will go. A wedding? Craft fair? Tennis match? A river cruise? A mall? I just can’t picture being packed With people, not at all. A zoo or playground, lake or beach I hope I can reclaim But maybe not, because the world Will never be the same.

A superb write ilene, really good rhyme and flow too. You tell it so well covering all aspects of the covid 19 for indeed it may never be the same in our world. Blessings, Gordon

No worries yet as the masses are still stupid and will continue joining hands to keep the virus alive, but eventually all the young and dumb will succumb and natural order will be re-established, so hang in there! Aloha! Rico

I don't think the world will be the same in some ways but I am not going to let the virus stop me enjoying life don’t lose heart my friend - Ilene lockdown will ease and you will be able to go out and socialise and do what you used to - if it means wearing a mask for your safety then so be it - we are on day 30 of no cases

My gut feeling is that you are right. Even if a reliable vaccine is put on the market, I don't think that I will stop wearing my mask, and I know I won't feel comfortable in anything resembling a crowd. Oh, for those wide-open spaces! Manhattan, anyone?! Maybe Queens? How about Jamaica? Would you believe Williamsburg? … Oy! Great write, Ilene! :) Gershon
