There beside me close as any friend
the wind, cascading on the sunshine, does descend.
And playing in the grass around me, by the water at my feet,
does share with me the dance of life, to overcome defeat.
For Lo, though lost in loneliness, I am not yet alone.
My every breath a part, of some great undertone.
I am but a part of all; a hand that reaches out.
And though at times it may seem small
my voice does even silent shout.
And you will hear. Of that I have no fear.
For we are all the fabric of our time
and ears were made for words that poets rhyme.
