The Words of a Christian Poet
"The Words of a Christian Poet"
The words of a Christian poet
are first formed as thoughts of the mind
and then after careful meditation
transformed into words that rhyme.
Then spoken from the mouth with a voice very clear
to minister the grace of God to the hearer’s ear.
He must not waste his talents on carnal things,
but only use them for spiritual things.
Have you ever noticed how time
seems to have wings and flies?
Soon our life will be over
and we can think no more.
We will stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ our Lord
to give an account to Him for the talents that He's given to us.
Were they used for His honor and glory
or were they buried and hid away?
I pray that our talents in the END will bring honor
and glory to the Lord Jesus Christ.
He's that glorious and blessed Gospel Story!
Let us always give thanks for Christ’s death,
Burial and resurrection day
and let us always magnify
His amazing and saving grace!
Then when our time on earth is no more
and our spirit ascends to heaven’s shore
and when we're all there in Heaven
with the Elders, yes all twenty-four.
and when they cast their crowns at the Lord’s feet
and when on our knees we fall saying,
Thou are worthy, O Lamb of God!
Yes! Yes! Yes!
You were worth it all!
Amen!!
