The Wizard of Pie
The Wizard of Pie
The Wizard of Pie was a magical man
With raspberry features, a coconut tan
He lived in a bakery atop of the hill
Where crust grew in gardens and bloomed on the sill
There was a big warehouse he constantly swept
Where pumpkins and apples and cherries were kept
The villagers loved him, it was no surprise
For he made the best ever Christmas Eve pies
Though this year was different, his pies were the same
But something had happened that tarnished his name
A villager spotted him eating some cake
And called him a liar and called him a fake
The news spread like fire, the villagers cried
They couldn’t believe that their baker had lied
Until he explained, hoping they’d understand
It was a new recipe, something he planned
A pie that was cake in a cake that was pie
It wasn’t that good, but he just had to try
They forgave him for sure, yes they had to believe
For they all wanted pies and it was Christmas Eve
