Listen to poem:
break a wishbone you end up with the small half of the split it's suppose to be fifty - fifty odds still we all know a very few of the people a teeny weeny portion of the population own the lion share of all the wealth like bats without radar we fly blind spend our days dreaming of the larger piece of the wishbone here's the rub the turkey's already been skinned clean Mar. 2 2016 armand

Delving in your older poems, Armand, and I am not in the least disappointed! A short write this time, but the result is impressive, especially the end part which wakens us to stark reality. // paul

Yes, what a bunch of turkeys we are, Armand. Hark! Money is not happiness. A man with 9 million is no happier than a man with 8 million. Love, daver

oh wow, the last line is genius. And the message is without a doubt SO true. I love this one, Armand. A fave on this one. Also, I have to tell you when I used to do the wishbone with my sisters, I would let THEM do the pulling. The one who does not work at it is almost always the winner. That 's why all we poor working stiffs are getting the SHORT END of the STICK. WRITE ON, poet.

10 (or 1 in numerology) is my name number, so I am finishing on your poem number ten. I am really drawn to the cute title. Now let me see this one.

This is a great analogy my friend. I always got the short end and with five kids had to fight just to be able to get the chance to lose...lol
