The Winter Bed-Check

THE WINTER BED-CHECK Roy Mokoena Waking up in midst of the night, Burdened by the loneliness in me, Hard to lie a head on an empty bed. In the cold hours, I rolled from left to right, I put my wings close to the body,as a bird on alighting- i needed a warm cuddle. I was hoping for a feminine touch, Her hands to embrace, I was freezing. I looked up, I imagined, I desired, but nothing, I couldn't resist the craving, I was burning. The confusion dimmed my mind off, I remembered, Tears ran down my face! Stronger feelings- I needed a company, Someone of a gender contrary to mine, Whom I could exchange the breath with. Only the pillows were in my possession, The shivering never stopped, a winter battle! Dry lips- I needed a mouth-watering, Cold hands- I needed someone to caress! The only way to substitute loneliness, Is by creating a solid togetherness! A man, A woman- their marriage! Their oneness is their happiness! How fantastic is the fantasyland of a man who dreams and do things differently in the next wake! Set action plans that bring about change, And live a lifestyle that brings him full satisfaction!
