The Window Barred and the Vampire Within

Watching, With dark and lonely eyes, Upon a street, So livid with flame rekindled, I see it… The one I have unknowingly sought. It is she, My joy, my sorrow, my passion, my existence, The prey! There… As she was like a nymph in the darkness, So quick No mortal could hope to see this child of an angel. I want her, With the fury of my immortal hunger, I need her As the voracious beast that I am so howls She is Mine! I watch, So like the story of Cat and Mouse, This beautiful Mouse… She is everything to everyone and nothing to no one Burning and radiant, She is the darkest flame of my heart. If I were to touch her, We would melt together in the heat of love, And I am Forbidden! My worship, So momentous and relentless unto this temptress, Remains so silent, Though all of the World knows of this obsession. She moves on, She flies seamlessly on wings invisible, through seas of the human flaw. Never to see… Never to acknowledge my proclaimed adoration of her holy bodice… I weep! For the hunter, I, alone in this asylum suite, Am immobile… Even with preternatural prowess, I cannot break it, The Barrier! She knows nothing of it, for it is formed by they, These wicked Jackals! Their scavengry impedes our little game, They ravage her soul, My prey, NO… My Love! And I only can watch…
