The Wind of October
The Wind of October
A whisper of frost on the breath of bright autumn
On wings October flies in a whirlwind of sighs.
The wind shivers with cold - time’s messenger bold;
Waking up from their naps mufflers, mittens – woolen caps.
On wings October flies in a whirlwind of sighs
Chilling sweet spice perfumes beneath harvest moons
Waking up from their naps mufflers, mittens – woolen caps.
As bare branches now tremble like bare arms they resemble.
Chilling sweet spice perfumes beneath harvest moons
The wind shivers with cold – time’s messenger bold;
As bare branches now tremble like bare arms they resemble
A whisper of frost on the breath of bright autumn.
