How can you continue a story That God has finished in all His glory What can they add that will make it well After we spent years under it's spell How can they touch the poetry or drama Of that created to be a diploma From where does this charismatic claim That they are characters with the same names From where dost come the new plot That will not be remembered and soon forgot The names of the past will fade like brass But the "How do I love thee's" will never pass The black and white Dorthey will always last The green wicked witch that will some how crash The stars that played those memorable roles Through the years worth their weight in gold I find both tales incredibly bold But the new will never replace the legend of old
