Interesting what remains, as reminders. We recently bought an oculus (virtual reality) and I, at least, had the joy of visiting the wailing wall virtually. I once had a dream that I was in Jerusalem. We were supposed to go with our church but then my Pastor’s wife found herself with cancer. She died about a month ago.

Some day I hope to experience this wonder of survival. In my mind it is a dramatic symbol of the survival of God's people. Thank you Gershon for sharing your thoughts during this holy time of year for you. Shalom! In my prayers.

Lovely insight and words from you my friend. Loved the history you shared. It is a special place I wish to see someday. God bless the Jewish Nation and the souls that make it. I pray for protection for all my Jewish brothers and sisters. Their journey has been an incredible one. What they went through shows the resolve these amazing people possess. God bless you for sharing Gershon...

Quite true.We were to that wall and hit our head in contrition. It has ridden the believers of their sense of guilt ! Beautifully expressed.
