The Way of Peace

The climate of the world is alarming; we are at odds with each other,                
           divisively separated...a great divide in our society.

               Peace comes through understanding and tolerance.
                                 She carries no arms,
                           She speaks without criticism,
                           She encourages, not thwarts,
                           She is honest, not deceptive,
               She rejoices in the communion of all lives,
                        She expunges divisive differences,
          She exchanges anger for acceptance, and mutual respect.
                                Peace generates peace.
                                           ~~~
                        He takes her hand in communion
                        Together, they reach out in union,
                            Lateral roots they become,
                          Hardships with joy overcome;
                                No barrier too grand,
                     With love they heal hand in hand.
                                As time marches on
                           Their roots will bear fruits
                     And peace will replenish the land.

Ray Zottola September 15, 2022 at 3:44 PM Paulette, First I thank you for your comments on "Death". Reading "the way of peace" i reflected on the root cause of war. Can it be so simple as you say? Its a wonderful thought isn't it? The simplest of things is usually the answer, but is often shattered by tyrants. It seems all People can live together until liers lead them astray. You touched it. Simple and true. Why then, is it so hard?

I do hope for a Turn to the better of above, but I'm thinking Humans have got the idea they can orchestrate Perfection.' and this will always be counter to Achieving such..' Perfection exists after people Pass from this realm, Into God's presence.' There then will be no earthly veil, and light and Eternal Truth will be part of everything you Will be.'
