The Way I See

THE WAY I SEE
Rains come in torrent as the clouds burst Time for the helpless hill is at the worst, Its slope fails, land crashes down in a slide, Exposing the scarred face ugly and cursed. Days later, flushed in the sheen of the sun Shining blades of grass sprout one by one, Birds on rock ledges drink trickling water, On ugly hill face I see nature’s beauty return. The face you got isn’t for you a thing of pride For your genes haven’t been on your side, In many undoting eyes you’re an ugly girl, To lonely refuge you retreat hurt and hide. The special way I behold you no one knows, Glitter of your golden heart your face shows, Like moon on rippling silent river your eyes glint, On your ugly face I see the angelic beauty glows.

My dear friend, "The way I see " is a beautiful poem; but the way I see it in a form of Rubaiyat has some glitches. In the first Rubayi, "cursed" does not rhyme with Burst and Worst. In the second Rubayi, same as the "return". Also, there is a syllable counter in PS... your Rubaiyat varies from 9 to 14 syllables, it must be the same throughout. PS has a good explanation of this type of poetry.
