The Visionary
The possibility, the excitement of a new adventure
To suddenly be awakened to a dream of endless possibilities
To know once more there are mountains to be climbed
To meet like minded people with goals and daring
The visionary entering unknown territory, eager, expectant, alive
Filled with ideas and the dreams of the creative investigative mind
Not recognizing defeat, or the closed door so often there
Striding forth with anticipation and a belief in what can be
Finding a new way, with a crystal like vision of a better tomorrow
Not accepting the doubters web of mediocrity and derision
But awakening each day with the knowledge of endless possibilities
A never ending search for the impossible, suddenly possible!
Observing the world around and awakening within it new ideas
And in the challenge of the vision, changing and enriching lives
The intrepid visionaries of the world, fervently reaching for the stars.
