The UK has blood on its hands

Slavery solidified the UK's place in the world
Earning recognition, power and control
The foundation of its empire
Built by slave labour

Stolen wealth sat in their banks
Invisible blood covers every coin and note
Hard earned black money
Given to the rich, white and upper class society
Spending our wealth
On buying more slaves
So they can sit and roll around like pigs in the mud
Except instead of mud it was our
Blood, sweat and tears turned into paper

Museums are guilty too
Our pain and culture is not here to be mocked and viewed
African artefacts and art
Taken without permission
Just like our ancestors autonomy
The choice to do what we want with out bodies
But hey at least it benefited the economy
Profiteering off of stolen property
So they can move ahead in the one-sided game of racist monopoly
While they leave black people in 'jail' or trapped in poverty

Our hands created the many institutions of education
Schools, colleges and universities
Our blood stained the bricks we stacked
Then denied us entry because we are black
But would allow professors and scholars
To teach and enrich students minds
Whilst simultaneously being racist
Ironic how they'll take our donations
Then use that to pay their wages
But then deny our history and our right to be apart of the right to an education
