Notes About The Poem

Check out 'Terry Lovelace and Toby at Devil's Den, AZ in 1977' -- just in case you think I'm completely nuts. ~ gw

The UFO's Were Here, You Know

The UFO’s were here, you know
Too many unsolved reports to deny
The aliens have been watching us for a while
stealing our secrets on the sly

The US Air Force seems to be cooperating
with a colony of workers on the moon
Hidden away where no visitor will see --
         The government slays any informee

Those few living who were taken there
          altogether too scared
to spill the beans at the Pentagon, where
those who know cower ~ denying the people's will

We can barely deal with the non-aliens on earth these days.... or are they non-aliens?

I see space aliens all over the place. I think I saw one at the grocery checkout counter today, and I may have even had lunch with one. Signed, Earth Man (._.)

Sounds like you are comfortable with their skin there, David.
