The Time Has Come

It saddens me to say that the time has come We must prepare to leave this place we love Almost forty years have come and gone Precious memories lay scattered hither and yon We knew that someday this time would arrive When age no longer could be cast aside And as the sun sets once again through trees so green We take one last look at this heavenly scene Soon we will pack our bags and leave this place With a heavy heart and only our memories to embrace
