The Tilted Scale

Am I in calm? Or am I in unease? Never have I felt in peace More than ever But with it The rising waves of anxiety The collision Between the tranquility and apprehension Can’t seem to find my place Time seems to drip slowly Into the next day The drip drips Irritating my mind Inner peace inner peace They say But how can I When everything is in imbalance The scale is tilted Tilted to the other end The precious marbles falling Falling and shattering To pieces To pieces Infinitesimal pieces of shards Can never turn back into one But we can create something new Create something more beautiful Than ever A rainbow of scintillating slivers A fine powder for fairy dust Who knows Maybe we can fly To our Neverlands Someday Soon
