The Ticking Man
A solemn man walks to a beat
That rhythm never changes
Walk up to a safety net
Tick tock Tick tock boom
Fuse grows dead but keeps on burning
Showing no sign of stop
The man, he walks up to his house
Tick tock Tick tock boom
Shattered mind, loss of breath
Revealing the truth
Recognized, sunken eyes
A bunny crawls to his feet
Losing breath, pitter patter
With the truth and mind
Bunny gone, at least she’s safe
Tick tock Tick tock boom.
