The Throne

She sits on a golden throne of hearts
watching as the world flows slowly around
The queen of all and nothing
kindness fills the air as she smiles at the impostor
A man not one brings his plan to her heart
alone on the throne she finds all she needs
As day turns to night the smile turns to a frown
the world outside no longer what it seemed
full of darkness and anger she feels all the fear
hate fills the air as she punishes the impostor
anger and rage from the depths of the unknown
the world moves slower than it did in the light
vengeance and regret fill her now heart
Tears full of nothing on the lonely throne of stone
