The Test of True Love

True Love is urgent and cannot wait,
It defies gravity and presses fate,
In times of despair, tragedy and pain,
it remains vigilant and faithful,
dropping all things to be dutiful,
It never keeps score or pretends
to be too busy,
It soothes and comforts, creating harmony,
The test of true love is never testing the other
to see how much they can take,
because if pushed too far,
the lovey-dovey feelings might just break,
turning into resentment and hate,
True love is pure and knows its own boundaries,
Yet, if pressured, it leaves partners in a quandry.

How true of everything you have stated here. This is written decently well.
